Philips developed an additional VIDEO CD format - SVCD (Supervideo format). It supports MPEG-2 video format, but features more interactivity options. The capacity of such format is up to 70 minutes of video information.

12 cm SVCD disc: up to 670 MB or 70 minute capacity.
